I am new to this site but will post are dive today at La Jolla Shores, are 1st dive we went out of the marine room area just to the left. We stayed shallow about 18' max water temp was 65'f and the viz was awesome! As we approached the coral and eel grass we started to see life, just the usual
things you see shallow. Leapord sharks are still here and lots of little rays in
the sandy areas, we planned to dive the cove but large surf and low viz canned that idea! Are 2nd dive we went strait out to the canyon, dropped
in about 20' and already seeing sand dallors! A few kicks and we met the canyons edge, viz was nasty! Not good down there today, lots of dead
vegitation down there. As we hit 60' the temp was 59'f and as we were
swimming through the haze we were dieing to see life, we ran across a amall octopus and started taking a few pics as a small 3'-4' black sea
bass startled us from above! He checked us out for a few minutes and
took off, as we hit turn around pressure it was time to head in.
