Who's down for a dive this sunday at and around Vallecitos
point in the canyon??? :sifone:

Where is Vallecitos Point? And what time of day would you be making this dive?

Vallecitos point is off La jolla shores about 1000'ft from shore,
or there is secret gardens a little more north. Vallecitos point
is about a 50'~70' ft dive and secret gardens is about 85'~100' ft
dive, but I only go about 70'ft at the most. I like to stay above
60' ft to make the dive last a little longer and most of the stuff you
see above 60' anyway, I also like the north east side of Vallecitos point
because the way the canyon wall faces to the north you get a lot
more light reflecting on the wall. On sunday high tide is around
10:30am so an hour before or an hour after would be a great time,
maybe the shallows will hold good viz and 2 dives would be even
better! :drool5:

How is the parking on a Sunday in La Jolla?

It's been great, at least half of the parking lot is empty!
Thats at Vallecitios anyway, the cove is always a pain!
