monterey diving

Hello fellow dive trippers. I was just looking for some cool feedback about diving in monterey. Does anyone have any trips they would like to share? I have always wanted to take a trip there and I wonder where are the cool places to stay, dive sites to see and of coarse any other highlights that may come to mind. I look foward to your feed back thanks trippers.

Hi Karma:

Just got back from Monterey last night. Dove the Breakwater. Awesome diving! Lots of life, very easy and safe. A bit cold (52 degrees in April) but you deal with it I guess.

There's a great hostel walking distance to Cannery Row and the dive shops for $20/night.

Hey man,i dove Monterey way back in the 90's i walked in at Cannery row just south of the Aquarium.lots of kelp and some sea otters go to Monterey bay dive center for info,also make sure you dive Carmel while your there!:rant:
