Hi there fellow bubble lovers. My friend and I went out to explore the south walls today. The water was a little brownish green but it opened up to about 15ft in the south part of the canyon. We seen three sarcastic fringheads what a treat:) My o my what a thermocline around 70ft it dropped a couple degrees, brrrr. As most of you know there isn't much in the way of fish out south but we ran into a couple sheep crab, lobsters, some gobies, and on the cruise back over the sand we came across a small halibut looking flat fish. Can anyone ID it, he was tan with bluish markings, it was more the size of a flounder than a halibut though, hmmmm? Any hoo great dive despite viz. Max depth 99ft, dive time 37 minutes. Waves 1-2 with occasional 3 footer, mild long shore current running south. I think it's about time they put the 5mph buoys back in place. Does anyone know when they will do this?
