Hi ya scuba dooba doo heads just wanted to post conditions at the shores today. Red tide pretty thick still but manageable. Entry to the right of the boat launch. Max depth 63ft dive time 39minutes. Viz 5 in the shallows and 5-10 on the north wall out towards the plateau it cleared a bit but not much. Everything to see is in the nooks and crannies anyways so we didn't let the viz damper our good time. Water 62 on the surface and a slight thermocline at 30ft. Pretty toasty though I'm not complaining. Waves 2-3ft packing a punch as tide was going out. The highlight of our dive was a wolf eel hanging out in a hole on the north wall before you hit the plateau. What a treat! Also one large halibut and the biggest noble dorid I have ever seen. About the size of a hockey puck. WOW! A bit surgy on the way back in through the shallows, a little crab and I scared the begeezys out of one another in the sand ha ha. Beautiful day at La Jolla shores get out there and make some bubbles people it's awesome!:)
