Well it's only taken me four months of veiwing the great community of OEX, and La Jolla divers and watching the video's and pictures you guy's share to come up with a simple fact offering. This Sunday, out of Oxnard, on a boat called the Spectra, is a dive Party. A four tank dive w/ meals and Tank fills for $115.00. The Boat can accommidate 40 divers and has only 22 registered. Here's the bad part, it's being booked through Sport Chalet... (I can hear the OEX reaction already) I thought since I like you guy's and the infectious enthusiasm you create, that I'd offer this information to anyone who would like a roadtrip this weekend for a $115.00 four tank dive. I'm hoping to have pics to share as I enjoy when you guy's share your trips. Thanks

you know how long they will keep this price?
i think has a lot divers looking for something like this all the time.

I was introduced to this by a SC employee. I'll ask the host on the boat how often this trip occurs and post it.

Thanks for the post, ScubaGuy. Would just like to say OEX realizes this forum's about diving, not OEX or Sport Chalet or any other specific dive shop. It's about getting divers out diving and helping scuba grow in Southern California. So no worries on promoting a SC event, looking forward to seeing pics from the trip! OEX

I found out that this boat regularly charges this price. Except during Lobster season. I would assume that they have a website and I'll get all that infowhen I return home. i love the reply from OEX La Jolla. Right on the spot and I love that about OEX. C U Late

The dive day was great. Camera problems pleagued the entire day. The Spectre Boat runs these 4 tank trips regularly. They include tank fills, all food, all drink, all snacks, and a very helpful crew. The Spectre can be reached at 866-225-3483

my girlfriend and I are going on the hombolt this sunday to do a 2 tank @3:00. I'll check it out and if it;s cool I'll sign on for the 26th
