Sunday June 1st at around 11am I entered the water with an open water class of 7. It was a shaky entry because the waves were picking up to about 3-4'. Just on the limit for newbies. Once we battled the surf we descended into 20' and the visibility was about 10', less than the divers reported. We only made it to the canyon edge because the skills took up most of our air. Once we hit the rim the visibility opened up to about 20' in some spots. Still alot of activity with bat rays. We called it quits after 30 minutes or so. Congrats to all the newly certified students. Can't wait to hear about your dive experiences to come.
