Hit the Ruby E first...
and had 50' to maybe even 80' feet of viz, no joke! We
could see the whole ship from end to end hangin on the
line, lots of life as well including a seal playing around.
We then went to the NOSC Tower, had 30' to 50' of viz
there, wish we could have been there sooner before the
turn of the tides. Still the whole tower could be seen
from a distance, the only down side was the choppy
surface and a little wind.
I just found out about the death of a diver on Saturday
diving the Yukon, it's always difficult hearing of a death
like this! People need to pay close attention to this sport
and keep an eye on each other, too many people treat this
as if it was a walk in the park. I feel for the captain of
the dive boat and family of the diver, I sure hope this
tragedy stays in the minds of others in a way of helping
others in the future! Dive safe!!!
